Our purpose

Good decisions need reliable numbers. Many growing businesses in our region reach a point where their reporting, controls and finance processes no longer match their ambitions — but the step up to a large firm feels out of reach or out of proportion. AMA was founded to close that gap: senior, internationally trained professionals working directly with owners, boards and finance teams, at a scale that fits.

Who we serve

We serve two audiences, with the same partner-led standard of care.

Businesses

  • Maintaining timely and accurate accounting records
  • Bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Strengthening internal controls and corporate governance
  • Preparing reliable management and statutory financial information

Accounting and audit firms

  • Back-office and engagement-delivery support
  • Audit methodology and quality-management support
  • Assistance with complex technical matters

All our partners are bilingual in Arabic and English, enabling effective communication with owners, boards, finance teams and professional firms across the region.

The meaning behind the name

AMA takes its letters from the first names of our three founding partners — Ahmed, Mohamed and Amr. It is a simple statement of accountability: the people whose names form the firm are the people who plan, review and stand behind the work.

Our values

Five principles we work by

Integrity

We say what the numbers support — clearly, honestly and without overstatement, even when the message is uncomfortable.

Clarity

Complex accounting deserves plain language. We explain what we found, why it matters and what to do next.

Professional judgement

Standards and checklists matter, but experience decides the difficult calls. We bring senior judgement to every engagement.

Practicality

Recommendations are only useful if they can be implemented. We design solutions that fit your team, systems and budget.

Confidentiality

Your financial information is handled with strict discretion, appropriate safeguards and professional care.

How we work

The partner-led model

In many firms, senior people sell the work and junior people do it. We deliberately built AMA the other way around.

  • A partner scopes, plans and prices every engagement personally.
  • Partners perform or directly review the significant work — judgements are never delegated by default.
  • You get direct access to the partner responsible for your engagement, in English or Arabic.
  • We keep teams small and senior, which keeps communication fast and quality high.
What shapes our work

International perspective, applied locally

Our partners trained and worked with international firms in London, Doha, Cairo and Saudi Arabia, across audit, assurance, banking and industry. That background shapes four commitments.

Quality

Structured working methods, documented conclusions and senior review on everything we issue. We hold our own work to the standards our partners applied in internationally regulated environments.

Communication

Short, decision-ready reporting instead of long documents that hide the point. We agree communication rhythms up front and keep you informed as work progresses — no surprises.

Responsible use of technology

We apply analytics and AI-enabled tools where they genuinely improve accuracy, speed or insight — under human review, within agreed confidentiality boundaries, and never as a substitute for professional judgement.

Confidentiality

Engagement information is shared only with those who need it, protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures, and handled in line with our engagement terms and applicable law.
