Mohamed Essam is a Founding Partner with more than 15 years of experience in audit, financial reporting and IFRS advisory across the UK, Qatar and Egypt. He has worked with EY and Deloitte and has led complex engagements for banks, financial institutions, listed companies and private businesses, while managing multidisciplinary teams across international markets and regulatory environments.

Mohamed specialises in IFRS and financial reporting, audit and assurance, IFRS 9 expected credit losses, financial instruments, treasury, derivatives, internal controls, governance and audit quality. He has also supported IPOs, bond issuances and other capital-markets transactions in the Middle East.

At AMA, Mohamed helps clients improve financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, meet regulatory requirements and develop finance processes that support better decisions and sustainable growth. Amr Batran

Amr is an audit and finance professional with more than 8 years of experience across financial auditing, analysis and financial management in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. His career spans international network firms — including KPMG, RSM, Crowe and HLB — where he has led audit teams, supervised client portfolios and delivered audit findings and management letters across manufacturing, retail and contracting clients.

He also brings first-hand management experience as Chief Financial Officer of an architecture and construction firm, where he directed financial operations, planning, budgeting and investment analysis. He works fluently with IFRS and Egyptian Accounting Standards and with a wide range of finance and audit systems, including SAP, QuickBooks, Peachtree, and the Clara and CaseWare audit platforms.

Hasan Fouda is a risk consulting professional with more than 15 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, corporate governance, compliance, IT audit and governance advisory across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. His experience spans government, semi-government, family-business, multinational and private-sector organisations, and includes prior experience with KPMG.

He has developed and enhanced internal-audit functions, charters, manuals, risk-based plans, methodologies and reporting frameworks. His work also covers enterprise risk management, risk and control assessments, governance reviews, compliance, business-process improvement and continuous-auditing approaches. He works with boards, management and other senior stakeholders to strengthen accountability, regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness and organisational resilience.

Walid Abbas is a Partner specialising in tax, Zakat and VAT services, with more than 18 years of experience across Saudi Arabia and Egypt. His career includes roles with Deloitte in Egypt and KPMG Saudi Arabia, where he advised local and multinational organisations across diverse sectors.

Walid specialises in Saudi Zakat and tax regulations, VAT, tax planning, withholding tax, Double Taxation Agreements, due diligence, restructuring and tax risk management. He has managed a portfolio of more than 220 entities and led ZATCA audits, assessments and disputes before ZATCA and the General Secretariat of Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees.
